weltwärts (“Worldward”) Volunteer at GBS

For bringing volunteers to Gram Bharati Samiti, HSHR cooperates with the weltwärts (“Worldward”) Programme, launched by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and Deutsch-Indische Zusammenarbeit e.V. (DIZ) as agency for India. David Michel, who served from 15 August 2014 to 14 July 2015 was the first weltwärts volunteer at GBS. This was for him a period of intense cultural learning. David has left the Shivpura School of Khawarani a splendid gift: During the weeks of the worst summer heat, he and local helpers gave the school a new paint. Thank you, David! HSHR wishes you a good start of your university education in Germany.
